About your first visit
At your first appointment, Dr. Kao will complete a thorough periodontal exam. This includes a health questionnaire to address all your needs and potential fears, an oral cancer screening to protect your health, a tooth-by-tooth exam for gum health, and taking any necessary x-rays to aid in your diagnosis. Dr. Kao will explain the nature of any problems you may have and will provide an assessment for your prognosis and the treatment direction to bring you back to health and proper dental function. In short, it is our goal to make your dental appointment amazing.
